We (as husband and wife) are both part-time practicing General Practitioners with additional experience of working specifically in Elderly Care. We therefore appreciate the physical, psychological and social needs of the Elderly. Our aims are very simple. We wish to promote individualised person-centred care, whilst offering good quality of life for our residents. We strive towards this by working alongside an attentive team of carers who are well-trained and respectful. We believe in the importance of positive mental wellbeing and try to keep our residents entertained with a variety of different activities to keep them mentally stimulated. Our company name is called ‘Sathya Care’. ‘Sathya’ is the Sanskrit word for ‘truth’ and denotes being honest and transparent in thought, speech and action. These are the values we like to incorporate into our provision of care.

Management Team

Registered Manager, Denise Naylor (R)
Denise’s journey with Grafton Lodge goes back as far as 1992 when she started as a night-time carer. Since that time, her experience has grown over the years as she has taken on various other challenging roles. In 2005, she was given the Role of Deputy Manager at Grafton Lodge before taking on the role as Care Home Manager in 2020. Denise has a very ‘down to earth’ and calm manner who always promotes positivity in the Home. In her spare time, she is an avid animal-lover and has her own Yorkshire Terrier who she is looking forward to introducing to some of the residents. She also enjoys crosswords and cake-making.

Deputy Manager, Tina Munn (L)
Tina has worked with Grafton Lodge as a carer for the last 3 years before taking the position of Deputy Manager in 2020. Tina is very energetic and will embrace all challenges that come her way. She is also a full-time mother of three and enjoys cooking and reading to help her unwind after work.

Staff Team
Our team of 25 Carers, 2 Cooks and 2 Housekeepers are all qualified and have a lot of experience. They constantly update their training and skills in specialist aspects of the care of elderly people.
